It is with a profound sense of purpose that I share, Ratnam College is an institution that holds a very special place in the history and heart of the NES-SVB Group. Named in honour of my beloved mother, Smt. Ratnamma, the college stands as a tribute to her values of compassion, resilience, and the transformative power of education.

42 years ago, Ratnam College was established with the vision of creating an inclusive space where young minds, especially women, could blossom into confident, capable, and socially responsible individuals. The sole objective was of providing quality education to the underprivileged youth so that they can dream big and make a successful life and career for themselves.

Over the years, the college has grown in stature, staying true to its mission of academic excellence, character development, and community engagement.

As we look to the future, we carry with us a bold and exciting dream — to evolve into a full-fledged University that offers world-class education rooted in Indian values, global perspectives, and cutting-edge innovation. This vision is inspired by our enduring commitment to nation-building through education and our belief that every student deserves the opportunity to reach their fullest potential.
