Over the years the College has strengthened the bond with the Alumni. It has an active Alumni Association that contributes well to the development of the College

Ratnam Premier League and “Rock the Stage” Cultural Nite
In order to commemorate the Diamond Jubilee of the parent body , the Alumni Association of our College hosted the Ratnam Premier League- Season 1 where 17 teams from across various streams participated. The RPL followed the IPL format where the alumni bought the teams and became owners. The knock out of RPL was conducted on March 5th and semi finals and finals on March 12th 2023. Each team had to compulsorily have two female players. The RPL- Season 1 was a grand success and had sponsorship in kind from UNIBIC. The second event that the Alumni Association hosted was Rock the Stage- Cultural Night on 18th March where alumni across batches performed on the stage. We had more than 20 performances and an alumni footfall of about 300. Founder President Dr. R Varadarajan was the Chief Guest of the function and many ex faculty of our College also attended. All the Alumni had a very nostalgic evening reminiscing their College days at the Rock the Stage.

Alumni Lunch meet– was organised for the core team and sponsors of RPL and Rock the stage events on 16th July ,2023 at Caravan, Thane. 17 alumni and the staff members of Alumni Committee joined in for the lunch.
SAMAVESH -MINI MARATHON
Samavesh- the Mini Marathon ( 3.5 Km) was organised by the Alumni Association of NES
Ratnam College of Arts, Science & Commerce on Sunday, 2nd February 2020 in support of
specially abled children. The marathon was flagged off sharp at 6 am from NES International
School Ground ,Swapna Nagari, Mulund- West by the Director of the NES- SVB Group Dr. V.
Balasubramaniam and concluded at 8 am with prize distribution . 510 current students, alumni
members, faculty and non teaching staff ran for inclusiveness to support specially abled children
from Purva Foundation, Ummeed Foundation and NES Deaf School. A cheque of Rs. 33,333
was given to each of these institutions . Mr. Sushant Pujari of NES Junior College bearing chest
- 491 clocked the 3.5 km stretch in 13min to emerge as the winner in the male category and
Ms. Nirmala Mudaliar of NES Ratnam College bearing chest no. 282 clocked it in 19 min to
emerge as the fastest female runner. The winners were given a trophy,medal and certificate and
all those who completed the race were given a medal and certificate.
The specially abled children from the three institutes were also present and they too participated
by running around the ground. One of our Alumnus Mr. Vishal Shahani’s NGO Happy
Foundation volunteered in the conduct of the marathon.
Principal Dr. Mary Vimochana, Vice Princpal Dr. Vinita Dhulia, Past President of Alumni
Association Mr. Shakti Kannan and Past Vice President Mr. Kishore Mundra joined in the prize
distribution. Samavesh- truly sent a fragrance of inclusiveness in the air of Mulund on 2nd Feb.
