Public Speaking is the live act of performing a speech to an audience. It is significant in business, education, and the public arena. There are multifarious benefits to speaking in public – to inform, to persuade and to entertain. Though writing is regarded as superior to speaking, writing is only a representation of speaking, the “real” language. Speech goes back to human beginnings, perhaps a million years. However, the fear of public speaking, glossophobia, is considered to be common among a sizable population.
Among several educational projects and training, The Speakers Academy is one of the momentous outcomes of our founder President Dr. R. Varadarajan sir’s dream. This initiative envisages to train students to represent themselves with conviction and passion that grasps and sustains the interest of the audience. Speakers Academy envisions transforming its members into powerful envoys of words.
